National Country Leaders - William Tetteh (Liberia)

Pastor William Kwame Tetteh is a visionary pastor, missionary, and trainer committed to transforming men, families, and communities across West Africa through the Gospel. He serves as lead pastor of Kingdom Chapel Ministry in Boys Town, Liberia, while guiding MOV’s growing work throughout the region. His ministry is shaped by a clear Rising Higher vision—calling men to live with purpose, integrity, and responsibility before God.

William’s defining focus is biblical manhood and intentional discipleship. Alongside the late Pastor Darlington Gbah, he helped pioneer a movement that has now reached more than 3,000 men across Liberia, Guinea Conakry, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Ghana, Niger, and Togo. Through conferences, leadership trainings, and grassroots discipleship groups, men are being challenged to reclaim their God given roles in their homes, churches, and communities.

A graduate of St. Clements University in Monrovia, William also holds master’s degrees in theology (Lucent University, Texas) and international development (African Methodist Episcopal University). He is a Certified Pastor Trainer with Equipping Leaders International, blending spiritual depth with practical, sustainable leadership.

At home, William is anchored by his wife, the “beautiful lady of God,” Obapa Sarah. Their marriage stands as a testimony of God’s faithfulness. They are parents to two daughters—Mary Abena and Judy—and eagerly await their third child. Even through seasons of grief and material hardship, William has modeled the resilience and integrity he calls other men to embrace.

At the core of his calling is a deep conviction: when a man’s heart is transformed and his mind renewed, generations change. William believes every person bears God’s image—and that restored men become catalysts for transformation in their families, churches, and nations.
