National Country Leaders - Israel Herrera (Peru)

Pastor Robert Israel Blas Herrera lives in Arequipa, Peru, with his wife, María, and their young daughter, Zoe.

Israel answered God’s call at age 24 with a passion to raise men of courage, integrity, and unwavering faith. He now pastors Aliento de Vida Church, faithfully shepherding men and their families through the teaching of God’s Word.

For over eight years, he has ministered inside Peru’s prison system through the ministry Gracia, bringing the Gospel to incarcerated men and serving on the pastoral team—work that reflects MOV’s mission to reach men where they are.

In 2023, Israel coordinated his first MOV conference in Peru, ministering to more than 200 men inside a prison. His second conference gathered over 100 interdenominational pastors and leaders for unified training and encouragement.

In July 2024, he helped expand MOV’s reach to Puerto Maldonado—an often‑overlooked region—where more than 200 men gathered to hear the Word of God. A second conference in nearby Mazuko reached another 100 men, many expressing deep prayers for marriage and family restoration.

Israel’s faithfulness and leadership led to his appointment as MOV’s country leader for Peru in late 2025.
